Our partners provide not only funding but also in-kind donations such as
computers, office equipment, furniture, and supplies. These gifts enable us
to use grant-funding dollars towards direct services to our students. The
Houston READ Commission partnership provides the Center with an Americorp
Member who teaches several classes each year. Networking opportunities with
other agencies, staff continuing education and training, and volunteer
development are other benefits we receive from all of our partners.
