Bridging the Gap
As the Adult Reading Center entered its 18th year of
operation, the Board of Directors took a serious look at our methods of raising
funds for the Center. In reviewing where our funds are generated, we found that
more than one-half comes from local individuals, businesses, and organizations.
Therefore, to recognize those donors we have established Bridging the Gap to
Literacy. We have used that “bridge theme” in the level of giving
categories.
Golden Gate Bridge Society...gifts of $1000 and above
Covered Bridge Society...gifts of $500 to $999
Foot Bridge Society...gifts of $100 to $499
Stepping Stones...gifts under $100
